Every employer is looking for the employee who can master some general skills, and these skills are essential for the employers and employees work together to keep and improve their business. The skills is called employability skills.
Generally, no matter what industry you are in, you may get involved in:

Communication Communication requires you talk or communicate with people in many ways, using the proper language at the correct is critical.
Teamwork Sometimes, people need to work toegther to achieve same goal. Knowing how to work together and finishing your personal responsibility that will boost the teamwork.
Problem solving We are facing problem everyday and knowing how to work it out is another skill to have. In workplace, the problem may keep coming and what you learned from school will benefit you at this point.
Initiative and enterprise "Never Stand Still", creativity and improving at work is important for the business. Always seeking the better way or more efficient way to finish the work that may bring more opportunities and open more windows for the organisation.
Planning and organising Making a plan daily means having a task list that may assist you at work. You don't want to forget your task and may lead to a serious consequenses.
Self-management Having a balance life is critical, balancing among work, rest, study, family and other stuff is a skill. Learn yourself and put the most important things first and others come after.
Learning Keep learning new things daily. No one is capable at doing things at the begining, learning what you need to know to do the work and apply it to your life.
Technology Update your technology knowledge. Today's technology may expired tomorrow, keep yourself receive new things especially technologies, you may taste the sweet eventually.
