Our culture diversity makes Australia a great place to live and to work. Harmony Day is a celebration of our cultural diversity and it is a day of cultural respect for everyone who calls Australia home. (Australia Harmony Day)
The purpose of Harmony Day is encourage people to participate in their community, with respecting cultural and religious diversity and makes everyone feel belonging to the community.
Normally people celebrate this day at 21st March and people from different country bring their local food to share with others. Getting involved with harmony is simply being a host or join the local event.
The Harmony Day Also called The Orange Day. In Australia, orange stands for social communication and important conversation. It also relates to the freedom of ideas and encouragement of mutual respect. Thus, On March 21st, you may amaze that everyone is in orange.
